Article 113 of the Russian Code of Criminal Proceedings specifies that in case of a failure to appear for no good reason, both the suspect and the injured party and witnesses may be brought to court. Article 117 of the Russian Code of Criminal Proceedings provides for a possibility of imposing a fine on those parties to court proceedings which fail to perform their obligations. The amount of fine is up to 2500 RUR.
