The bill provides that a foreign agent media is a foreign entity distributing print, audio and audiovisual works and other materials intended to be perceived by an indefinite circle of persons. This is a very broad definition under which almost any media originating from any country may
fall. RT perfectly qualifies.
It is also worth noting that the bill in its present wording applies not only to mass media, but also any website or social network account.
Most probably, in future more specific criteria will be developed to select media subject to a stricter control, but presently there is no information on introducing any additional criteria.
