Siemens deafens the Crimean turbines

The denial to suspend the case does not mean anything in terms of the Siemens’ prospects since it rather bears a technical character. In practice, courts often deny parties in suspending a case because they do not want the proceedings to drag forever. The Siemens case has all the potential of lasting indefinitely, that is why the court refused to suspend it. A Siemens representative requested to suspend the case before the claim by Siemens Gas Turbines Technologies (SGTT) LLC on invalidating the transaction to supply gas turbines between SGTT and OJSC “Technopromexport”, Denis Frolov, Head of Litigation and Arbitration Practice, BMS Law Firm, commented on the situation.
